From Support Worker to Programme Facilitator

Having started her journey as a support worker at Goldcrest House, Molly consistently demonstrated her creativity, compassion, and commitment to the individuals in our care. Her ability to connect on personal level, coupled with her enthusiasm for arts and crafts, quickly set her as someone who could inspire and bring joy through creative expression.
We are thrilled to announce that Molly has recently been appointed as the Programme Facilitator for Genhawk working across Goldcrest House and sister home, Holland House. This new role is an exciting opportunity to make an even greater impact across our Group.
As a Programme Facilitator, Molly will take the lead in designing and delivering engaging arts and crafts activities tailored to the interests and abilities of each individual. But Molly’s role doesn’t stop there. Drawing on her experience as a support worker, she will also be leading life skills routines, such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care, that promote independence and growth. Her dual expertise will enable her to create well-rounded personal development plans in collaboration with key workers and families, ensuring each individual is supported in achieving their goals.

Families will also play an integral part in this process. By involving loved ones in the development of tailored plans, Molly ensures that the care and activities provided are truly person-centred and reflective of each individual’s unique personality and aspirations.
